Tax bills to be mailed out Monday, July 6
Payment is due in two installments:
- First installment: July 30
- Second installment: September 28
Pay from your phone by using the "pay a bill" feature in your banking app.

Paper water and tax bills now have a $2 fee. The next tax bill will be mailed out Monday, July 6.

As communities across the region continue to grow and demand for healthcare services reaches new levels, the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) will host an open community forum on June 23 to discuss the realities, accomplishments, and future of local healthcare.

A public meeting will be held in hybrid format via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. to consider a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13.
To start off last night’s meeting, Council heard from John Dalgity, President of Almonte Royal Canadian Legion Branch 240. He shared details on the Legion’s position regarding the Heritage Advisory Committee’s recommendation to designate the Legion building at 100 Bridge Street as a heritage site.

The Municipality’s Roads and Public Works Department will be completing sanitary sewer maintenance on Main Street East on Wednesday, June 10, beginning at 8 a.m. Work is expected to be completed by 12 p.m.
Lanark County is currently running a Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) program, to support businesses across the county. Over the summer and early fall, we will be interviewing businesses people in the area to determine what they need to remain successful and to grow further.
On June 8, John Jordan, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, announced that 8 Seniors Active Living Centres in Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston are receiving a total of $449,597 in annual funding.
