PUBLIC NOTICE – Construction crews on behalf of the Hilan Village subdivision developer will begin watermain and sewer work on Carss Street, between Union Street North and the future subdivision entrance. Installation work of the subdivision’s sewer and watermain connections to the municipal system is expected to be completed in three weeks. Access to properties on Carss Street will be maintained. Please follow directions from workers on site and use caution around construction zones.

The Crown & Pumpkin Studio Tour returns Thanksgiving weekend for its 30th annual celebration of local creativity, welcoming visitors on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
🚧 Temporary Closure Notice – Five-Span Bridge Park
Lanark County has advised that Five-Span Bridge Park will be temporarily closed on Thursday, October 1st and 2nd.
The closure is required to allow for paving works for the final part of of the Five-Span Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
Advance notice signage has been installed at the intersection of County Road 29 and Kinburn Side Road to inform residents and visitors of the temporary closure.
